If you aren’t getting enough vitamins and nutrients or if you have been sick lately and are feeling depleted you have the option of going and getting what is known as a vitamin IV. My sister went to her doctor the other day because she was feeling a little under the weather. She didn’t have much energy, and although she was eating healthy she just wasn’t feeling very good. They hooked her up to an IV and over the course of several minutes she was given an injection of several vitamins.
She said she could feel the effects immediately. She described it as having a fuzzy feeling in her head, and a blast of energy surge through her body at the same time. Your body immediately absorbs the vitamins because it is being injected directly into the muscle. They inject it in your hip muscle and you are the one that actually gets to push the liquid through the syringe, unless you don’t want to do it, then your physician’s nurse will probably do it for you. My sister says if you do it yourself they charge you less. It’s a great way to amp up on the vitamins that your body so needs when you are feeling dehydrated or run down.
